I am afraid of not being able to speak Japanese, does Morinoen Co. provide Chinese service?
Yes, the whole process of purchasing a home is handled by a Taiwanese salesperson, from the introduction of the property, to the on-site viewing, to the submission of the purchase statement, to the signing of the contract, to the delivery of the home, to the after-sales service, all of which are translated by the Taiwanese salesperson, so that you can enjoy the whole Chinese experience of purchasing a home in Japan as well.
Can Morinoen Co. provide customized services for those who have special needs for apartment hunting?
We are able to provide a wide range of services, from pre-sale houses, bed and breakfasts, residential buildings, store buildings, office buildings, factories, land, farmland, warehouses, and so on, as long as there is a demand from our clients.
Are there any restrictions on foreigners purchasing Japanese real estate?
There are no restrictions, and the rights are equal to those of Japanese nationals and are usually perpetual.
What are the fees for Morinoen Co.?
Our fees are standardized for all agencies in Japan. If the price of the item is 4 million yen or more, the fee is “3% + 60,000 yen + consumption tax” of the transaction price.
Can a foreigner open an account in Japan?
In most cases, it is not possible to open an account if you do not have a medium or long term visa. Some banks, such as Tokyo Star Bank, offer a repayment account and an ATM card when you apply for a home loan through Tokyo Star Bank, so that you can withdraw cash from your account at supermarket ATMs and bank counters when you come to Japan.
